During the visit to Astana Pope John Paul II will pray for exhausted and unfair victims at the years of political repression. The priest Tomash Peta announced this news at the press conference in the National press club on Tuesday in Astana.

According to his words, " the main clerical event" of the visit will become holy mass under the open sky on the square " Motherland". 50 thousand people have been invited for taking part at the public worship. The priest underlined, that " not only Catholics ate taking part at the holy mass, but all people of good will".

Besides it, Saint father will have a meeting with the President of Kazakhstan, young people at the Eurasian University, and representatives of science and culture at the Congress-hall of the capital.

After visiting Kazakhstan Pope John Paul II will visit Armenia in September 25-27.
