THE VOLUME OF IGO IN KAZAKHSTAN FORMED 2 600 BILLION TENGE FOR 2000. - THE STATISTIC AGENCY

The volume of produced internal gross output ( IGO) in Kazakhstan for 2000 formed 2 600 billion tenge , and the changing rates of its real volume formed 9,8%.

Earlier this figure formed 2 596 billion tenge, and changing rates of its real volume - 9,6%.

According to the statistic agency information, IDO growth on 9,8% was caused by the growth of real volume in the main economical branches : industry - on 15,5%, constructing- on 14%. In a whole, growth rate of goods production formed 11% to 1999. Increasing growth rates in real sector helped growth of services production ( 8,8%), especially in transport (18%) and communications ( 24,3%).

In 2000 index -deflator , characterizing price growth, formed in economy 17,4% to 1999, including in goods production -26,1%, in services production - 9,2%.

The share of goods production increased on 3,8 percent points and formed 46,5% from IGO. The main share in IGO production forms industry - 33,2%( 1210,2 billion tenge). , 30% falls on the gas and oil sector. Increasing of goods production share , and also taxes on food and import, was caused of decreasing of services production share on 4,3 percent points to 48,3 % ( 1256,0 billion tenge). In 1991-1995 annual decrease of IGO formed about 10% to 1991 and in 1995 reached the lowest level - 69%. Real IGO for 2000 to 1991 formed 78,1%, and to 1994 - 103,9%.
