A visit of the foreign minister of RK Kassymzhomart Tokayev to Great Britain started on 27 October, 2003, KZ-today has been advised in the information and analysis department of the MFA of RK.

This visit is preparatory for a Kazakh-British top level meeting planned in the first half of the next year, the MFA observed. The head of foreign ministry of Kazakhstan will hand a letter from the president of Kazakhstan to the prime minister of Great Britain Tony Blaire.

The programme of the visit includes negotiations with the foreign minister J. Straw, meetings with the deputy head of conservatives М. Ancrum, prince of Kent, British parliamentarians, as well as a speech in the Royal Institute of International Relations on foreign politics of Kazakhstan.

K. Tokayev will speak at a presentation of N. Nazarbayev's book "Critical Decade", meet representatives of business circles of Great Britain and mass media.
