Besides, during the telephone conversation the presidents discussed bilateral co-operation issues. The president of Turkey wished good rest to the president of Kazakhstan. During his stay in Turkey N. Nazarbayev carried out a number of business meetings. In particular, N. Nazarbayev met prime minister of Turkey Recep Tyyip Erdogan. The press service observed that "during the meeting the parties discussed issues of regional security and bilateral co-operation within international organisations". Discussing co-operation between Kazakhstan and Turkey in trade and economy, the parties noted a number of unresolved problems in the transport area. During the meeting an agreement "on the usage of possible ways for developing trade and economic relations and intensify connections between the two countries" was reached, - the press service observed. During their meeting the president of Kazakhstan and the prime minister of Turkey once more confirmed the high level of strategic co-operation of the two countries and observed a full coincidence of positions of the parties on international issues and the co-operation between the parties. Earlier it was reported that N. Nazarbayev was on a short term vacation as from 29 September. |
