Anatoly Belonog, chief sanitary doctor of RK, vice minister of health, has stated this today, July 29, at a national meeting of workers of the Ministries of Agriculture and Health, KZ-today correspondent reports from Astana. "The biological security of the country is an integral element of the national security of Kazakhstan," - A. Belonog has stressed. The task of the Ministries of Agriculture and Health is "to improve and perfect by all means the system of epidemiological and epizootic control over the especially dangerous infections," - he has observed. The resolution of many problems related with the especially dangerous infections, according to A. Belonog, depends on international co-operation. He says that in relation with this the Ministry of Health "has established close connections with the scientific research institutions of Russia, the US centres of infection control, and health ministries of the Central Asian region countries." |
