ADB technical assistance group to visit NKO

In the first day of the visit they met Tair Mansurov, akim of the oblast and carry out a seminar for NKO nongovernmental organizations, KZ-today reports. A three-day visit is aimed at the consideration of the ADB projects "Water supply and sewerage of the rural territories". Due to T. Mansurov words, $1 million was allocated for construction and repair works of water pipes of NKO in 2003 and $1.5 million in 2004. Nevertheless, the management of NKO will take the support from the international organizations securing, in its turn, attracting of the qualified specialist for the project implementation from the different spheres such as construction, architecture, agriculture, finance, economic development and others. One of the conditions of the ADB group is participation of nongovernmental organizations, "which have to actively participate in social problems solution", ADB head noted.
