Concrete structure plant commissioned in SKO

After an 11-year stoppage a concrete structure plant "Meliobeton" with a capacity of 35 thousand cubic meters of concrete structures has been commissioned in Makhtaaral district, South Kazakhstan oblast, KZ-today has been advised by Kenes Ismailov, oblast akim press secretary.

The plant will reach its full capacity before 30 August, 2003. PTK slabs, wall panels, housing sets from claydite concrete, ceiling panels, cornice slabs, claydite wall blocks, various girth rails and columns, parabolic treys and other will be produced at the plant.

According to SKO akimat press service, earlier companies "ESER" (Turkey) and "Todini" (Italy), realising the project "Water resources management and land recovery in Makhtaaral district", were buying parabolic treys in Uzbekistan, spending up to $2 million per annum. Now the necessary structures will be purchased locally. Currently "ESER" company has already concluded a contract on production supply for the amount of 120 million KZT with the plant. Moreover, the company advanced 15 million for the recovery, arrangements and commissioning of the plant. In total more than 55 million KZT of investments were spent for that.

106 people will be employed there, moreover, 20 million KZT per year will be paid into the budget in all kinds of taxes.
