The best journalists of Kazakhstan were awarded

15 Kazakhstani journalists received awards of the Journalists Union of Kazakhstan at a ceremony held on the eve of Kazakhstani journalism day.
According to the results of the national competition the journalists union and the state culture and arts support fund handed awards in 10 nominations.
In the nomination "Reporter work" - Ye.Latypova from "Panorama" newspaper was awarded (posthumously) for the reports on Kazakhstani aerospace complex development.
In the nomination "Economic review" - A.Mamyt from Zhambyl oblast paper "Аk Zhol" and A.Balazhan from South Kazakhstani oblast paper "Ontustik Kazakhstan" for the reports on current economic problems in Southern regions of RK and K.Sagymbaiuly for the analytic material on socioeconomic development of Kzylorda oblast were awarded.
In the nomination "Political review" S.Mamet from the paper "Egemen Kazakhstan" for the series of articles on Kazakhstani orphans adoption abroad and W.Toktapaev, the editor of EKO paper "Didar" for the social and political material received the awards.
Journalist Ye.Kuznetsova received the journalists union award in the nomination "Journalist investigation" for the series on the destinies of the repressed and their children called "Karlag beyond the barbed wire".
Ye.Suyunov, editor of the newspaper "Kostanai tany" received the award in the nomination "Research material" for the research in unknown facts of life of M.Seralin, one of the first Kazakh professional journalists.
N.Imangaliuly from CJSC "Khabar" was awarded in the nomination "Best TV reporter" for the creation of "Oi-Kokpar".
In the nomination "Best photographer" K.Konuspaev, photo-correspondent of "Republic business review", was awarded.
Ye.Imankulov, TV operator from "31 channel" was awarded for the best operator's work (posthumously).
The collective of Karaganda oblast newspaper "Ortalyk Kazakhstan" was awarded in the nomination "Popular scientific work in Kazakhstani history" for the series "Tauelsizdik zhylnamasy".
A.Vessyolova, art designer of "New generation" paper, was awarded for the art design and I.Kiyko - for social and political pictures in "Express K" and "Vremya" papers.
In the nomination "Best training manual" professors G.Ibraeva and S.Kairat, from the journalism faculty of Kazakh state university.
Creative works of B.Darimbet, Sh.Kyzygul, N.Zhunusbaev, T.Kulbaev, M.Zhunisbek and A.Laptev were awarded with the special diplomas of the journalists union as per the order of the ministry of culture, information and social accord.
11 journalists, mass media editors and press services workers were awarded with an "Madiniet kairatkeri" honourable sign of the ministry of culture, information, and social accord.
Kazinpress association handed its award to "Interfax-Kazakhstan" agency for the best information service organisation.
