Russia approved new export duty on oil

The government of the Russian Federation approved the export duty on oil and its products exported from Russia to countries which are not signatories of the Agreements on Customs Union. It was reported by press service of the government of RF, KZ-today correspondent informs.

The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Fradkov signed an appropriate decree.

The new rates will be effective as of 1 June 2004. The export duty on oil - $41.6 per ton, oil products - 37.5 per ton.
