Defence minister met CSTO secretary general in Astana

The parties observed that the Collective Security Treaty Organisation was one of the most important factors in providing stability in the Central Asian region. Besides, an exchange of opinions on the united CSTO headquarters activities, on the consolidation of the Central Asian Collective Fast Response Forces, and on the training of military personnel for CSTO member states took place. The Defence Ministry noted an importance of this visit on the eve of a regular session of the Collective Security Council that will take place in Astana in mid-June. |
