President held a number of meetings

Nursultan Nazarbayev, president of Kazakhstan, held a number of meetings on 23 March, KZ-today was informed in the presidential administration press service.

Bolat Zhamishev, chairman of the Agency for Regulating and Supervising Financial Market and Financial Organisations, reported to the president about the work of his Agency. Special attention during the conversation was paid to the situation with pension accumulation funds and changes on the insurance market and the market of securities, related with the adoption of laws "On the obligatory insurance", "On the market of securities", "On the joint stock societies". The president gave a number of instructions on further improvement of control over the financial market.

During the meeting of N. Nazarbayev with Alikhan Baimenov, co-chairman of the democratic party of Kazakhstan "Ak-Zhol", they talked about the course of socioeconomic reforms in the country. The head of state noted that he understood the party position and said that he saw supporters of the republic development strategy in "Ak Zhol". A. Baimenov in his turn stated that he supported socioeconomic tasks announced by the president in his annual address to the nation of Kazakhstan.
