New presidential business manager assigned

By order of the head of RK Temirkhan Dosmukhanbetov has been relieved from the duties of Astana akim - member of the government of RK and assigned business manager of the president of RK, KZ-today has been informed in the presidential administration press service.

T. Dosmukhanbetov was born in 1949 in Kustanai oblast, graduated from Kazakhs Institute of Physical Culture and Kazakh State University named after al-Farabi. PhD in pedagogy.

As from November, 1991, he worked as the president of "Intourist Kazakhstan" NC for foreign tourism, as from May 1994 - president of "Yassaui" SJSC for tourism, in 1996 - the minister for youth affairs, tourism and sports, in 1997 - director of the department for tourism and sports of the Ministry of Education and Culture.

As from November, 1997 - chairman of the committee for tourism and sports of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Healthcare, as from September, 1998, he worked as the presidential business manager. Since June, 2003, and until recently he occupied the position of Astana akim.
