Kazakhstan to host conference of Aahrus convention participants

Kazakhstan will host the second conference of Aahrus convention participants in May 2005. Aitkul Samakova, minister of environment protection, has stated this today, February 18, speaking at a board meeting of the ministry, KZ-today correspondent reports from Astana.

"Currently we are working on its preparation and realisation," - the minister has said. A. Samakova has stressed that the decision of the Aahrus convention secretariat to hold this event in our republic is "one of factors of the successes of Kazakhstan in the international co-operation."
