Russia ready to provide CIS countries with vaccine against flu A (H1N1)

August 17. Kazakhstan Today - Russia, as a humanitarian help, is ready to provide the CIS countries with the vaccine against the new influenza A (H1N1). Chief state health officer of Russia, Gennady Onishchenko, informed on Friday, the agency reports citing ITAR-TASS.
According to G. Onishchenko, at the meeting of chief health officials of the CIS countries in July, 2009, the Russian delegation addressed its colleagues with the request to specify and give the experts of Russia the information of the planned national programs of vaccinal prevention. "We have promised the sanitary services to render unconditional help," he said.
"40 million doses of the vaccine against the new influenza A (H1N1) will be made in Russia until the end of the year and 22 million doses more will be produced in the beginning of 2010."
