Astana. August 5. Kazakhstan Today - Foreign banks will not control Kazakhstan financial institutions. The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, stated during the meeting with the management of two banks of the country on Tuesday, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

The government, the management of the National Bank, Kazkommertsbank, Central Bank and other financial structures made reports. Trust to the Kazakhstan banking system today has been growing. The talks that our banks will go bankrupt and that a foreign bank will come and all the funds will go there are absolutely wrong. I responsibly state that no foreign bank will supervise banks of Kazakhstan. We will support them. Our own financial system is very important for us," N. Nazarbayev said.
