WHO suggests postponing beginning of academic year

July 22. Kazakhstan Today - World Health Organization (WHO) suggests postponing the beginning of the academic year, the agency reports citing RBC.
"If the number of the influenza A (H1N1) cases grows rapidly, the classes in schools will not begin on September 1st," chief health officer of Russia, Gennady Onishchenko, informs.
According to RBC, the statement of the chief health officer of Russia was the answer to WHO offer to postpone of the academic year all over the world.
300 lethal cases of the virus A (H1N1) have been registered since the beginning of July. WHO intends to undertake drastic measures to stop the epidemic.
