Presidents of Kazakhstan and Israel held meeting in Akorda

Astana. June 30. Kazakhstan Today - The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, met the President of the State of Israel, Shimon Peres, who is paying a state visit to Kazakhstan, in Akorda, the agency reports.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, the officials discussed priority directions of bilateral trade and economic cooperation of Kazakhstan and Israel - high technologies, biotechnologies, agriculture, medicine, exploration of oil and other natural resources.

Kazakhstan and Israel actively develop cooperation in energy area. The main share of goods turnover accounts for export of Kazakhstan oil. Transit-transport potential of Kazakhstan in trade relations with China and the countries of East and Southeast Asia if of great interest for Israel.
