June 25. Kazakhstan Today - The Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Nikolay Bordyuzha, will take part in an informal meeting of the OSCE Ministers for Foreign Affairs and chairmen of the international organizations, which will be held in Corfu island Greece on June 27-28, 2009, the CSTO Secretariat press service informed the agency.
"The forthcoming meeting in the CSTO Secretariat is considered an important unprecedented event in the history of Europe. For the first time, Foreign Ministers of the OSCE member states and chairmen of the international organizations: CSTO, CIS, NATO, EU and OSCE, working on the Euro-Atlantic space, will sit down at the table. The informal meeting gives an opportunity for a frank brain storming of the issues related to Euro-Atlantic security and cooperation," N. Bordyuzha said.
Carrying out of the informal meeting of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the OSCE member states and chairmen of the international organizations has been initiated by the OSCE chairman, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Greece, Dory Bakoyanni.
As informed earlier, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Marat Tazhin, will take part in the informal meeting of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the OSCE countries in Greece.
