Kazakhstan, Russia agreed to speed up creation of civil atomic engineering company

June 19. Kazakhstan Today - The Russian-Kazakhstan consultations on cooperation in atomic engineering took place on June 17 in Moscow. The Russian delegation was headed by Assistant General Director of the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, Nikolay Spassky. Kazakhstan delegation was headed by Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aset Magauov, the agency reports citing the press service of State Corporation Rosatom.
"The meeting participants considered all complex of questions of the Russian-Kazakhstan cooperation in peaceful use of atomic engineering area. They also focused their attention to the questions of creation of the joint Russian-Kazakhstan company in the field of civil atomic engineering and construction of the atomic power station with Russian reactor installations VBER-300," Rosatom press service informed.
