Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, at the session of the Council of Foreign Investors stated Kazakhstan needs to develop the mechanism of trade in quotas on emissions of hotbed gases, the agency reports.
"Today we have alternative sources of financing. Trade by quotas on hotbed emissions under the Kyoto Protocol could become one of such funding sources," N. Nazarbayev said.
The President of Kazakhstan reminded that Kazakhstan ratified this document in March of 2009 . "It opens new possibilities in the sphere of development of energy effective technologies that will involve $1 billion of investments," he noted.
