Kazakhstan Today - According to the preliminary data, JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production in I quarter 2009 has extracted 2743 thousand tons of oil that is by 5.2 % less than during the similar period of 2008, the agency reports citing JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production press service.
"JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production, taking into account the shares of Kazgermunai companies and CCEL (JSC Karazhanbasmunai), extracted 2743 thousand tons of oil for the first three months of 2009 (224 thousand barrels a day) that is by 150 thousand tons, or by 5.2 % less than during the similar period of 2008," the press release informs.
