President assigned to undertake measures to provide safety on objects of storage of arms

Astana. April 8. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, during the session of the Security Council gave a number of assignments to the government to undertake measures to provide safety on the objects of storage and utilization of arms and ammunition, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

According to the press service, the President heard the report on the results of the work of the commission on investigation of the fact of ammunition explosion in utilization facility of Open Company KazArsenal in the South-Kazakhstan region. "The government has been assigned to undertake the necessary complex of measures to provide safety of the objects of storage and utilization of arms and ammunition," the message states.

According to the press-service, the State Office of Public Prosecutor and Interior Ministry have been assigned to carry out comprehensive investigation of the incident in the city of Arysi and to report on the results to the Security Council.
