April 6. Kazakhstan Today - The official visit of the President of the Islamic Republic Iran, Mahmud Ahmadinezhad, to Kazakhstan began, the agency reports.
During the visit the negotiations in Akorda will take place in the narrow and extended structures. The leaders of the states will discuss development of trade and economic cooperation, political dialogue, and cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats.
Kazakhstan suggests the Iranian party considering an opportunity of investment in the objects of mechanical engineering, infrastructure, transport and telecommunications.
It is important to develop an available potential in the transport sphere and to realize the civil-engineering design of the railroad line along the route Uzen - Gyzylgaya - Bereket - Etrek - Gorgan connecting with Iran. It will allow organizing optimum transport schemes of transportations in the Persian Gulf direction and back.
The leaders of two states are expected to pay much attention to the Caspian issue. The position of Kazakhstan in this question is maintenance of good-neighborhood in the Caspian Sea region.
During the negotiations the officials will exchange opinions on the important regional and global issues, including the situation in the Middle East and economic rehabilitation of Afghanistan.
