Kazakhstan Today - The Caspian pipeline consortium in January - March, 2009 increased shipment of oil for export from the terminal Southern Ozereika-2 by 20.5 % in comparison with the similar period of 2008, the agency reports citing the press service of the pipeline consortium.
According to the company, 8 million 765.39 thousand tons of oil as compared to 7 million 272.27 thousand tons for the similar period of 2008 have been shipped for export through the system of the Caspian pipeline consortium in the port Novorossisk in the 1st quarter of 2009.
