Russia and Turkmenistan considered cooperation in fuel and energy sector

Almaty. March 30. Kazakhstan Today - Russia and Turkmenistan have considered cooperation in fuel and energy sector. The President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, informed on March, 25th during the negotiations with the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, the agency reports citing the press service of the President of the Russian Federation.

Following the results of the negotiations, D. Medvedev and G. Berdymuhamedov accepted joint Russian-Turkmen statement. The package of the intergovernmental agreements, in particular, on encouragement and protection of investments, railway-ferry communication through the ports Astrakhan water transport unit, mutual recognition of diplomas, and interdepartmental documents on cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs, the Ministries of Agriculture and the State Offices of Public Prosecutor were signed in the presence of the Presidents of Russia and Turkmenistan.
