Kazakhstan Today - Turnover of goods in January - February 2009 in Kazakhstan totaled 50 billion 518.9 million tons per kilometer that is by 10.2 % below of the corresponding parameter of January - February, 2008, the agency reports citing the monthly report of the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan.
According to the Statistics Agency, rail freight turnover for January - February, 2009 reached 28 billion 243.3 million tons per kilometer (by 17.7 % below the corresponding parameter of the similar period of the last year).
Turnover of goods of motor transport for two months 2009 has totaled 7554.8 million tons per kilometer that is by 3.3 % less than in January - February, 2009.
