Government approved plan of strategic development of Ministry of Economy

Almaty. March 17. Kazakhstan Today - The government of Kazakhstan passed the decree of February, 16th, 2009 №152 on the strategic plan of the Ministry of Economy and Budgetary Planning of Kazakhstan for 2009 - 2011, the agency reports citing the official mass media.

According to the document, the strategy is directed at formation of the economic policy, capable to provide the country with the qualitative and balanced growth in conditions of the world financial crisis.

According to the forecast of the Ministry of Economy and Budgetary Planning, the GDP forecasted in the strategic plan by 2012 will increase by one and a half times: the parameter per capita - up to $13 thousand. However, in the short-term prospect in 2009 - 2011 GDP growth has been forecasted at the level of 1 - 3 % a year.

According to the document, the Ministry of Economy and Budgetary Planning will develop the system of measures of rapid reaction to the unforeseen situations similar to the present world financial crisis.
