Astana. March 17. Kazakhstan Today - A number of agreements were signed during the official visit of the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, to the United Arab Emirates, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

According to the press service, during N. Nazarbayev's visit to the United Arab Emirates the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates signed a number of agreements, including on extradition, on mutual legal aid on criminal cases and on mutual legal aid and legal relations on civil and commercial affairs.

According to the press service, at the awards ceremony taken place on the eve in the president's residence of the United Arab Emirates, caliph Sheikh Zayed Ben Sultan Al Nahayan, the President of Kazakhstan was given Zayeda medal - the highest state award of the United Arab Emirates named in the honor of the first President of the country - Sheikh Zayed Ben Sultan Al Nahayan. N. Nazarbayev presented the President of the United Arab Emirates the award Altyn Kyran for the outstanding merits in strengthening of mutual relations.

The leaders of two states held negotiations in the extended and narrow structure to discuss the questions of development of Kazakhstan-Emirates mutual relations in political, economic and humanitarian spheres.
