Participation of Georgia in international CIS contracts to be considered in Minsk

Almaty. March 11. Kazakhstan Today - The session of the expert group for consideration of participation of Georgia in the international contracts and decisions of the CIS bodies will take place in Minsk on March, 12-13th, 2009 in the CIS Executive Committee, the agency reports citing the press release of the CIS Executive Committee.

As informed earlier, on August, 18th, 2008 the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Georgia informed the CIS Executive Committee on the country's withdrawal from the Commonwealth.

According to the press service, the 41 session of the CIS Economic Council will take place in Moscow on March, 13th. The agenda includes 19 questions.

The question on the project of the plan of measures for realization of the first stage of the strategy of CIS economic development for the period till 2020 has been prepared by the working group for development of the project of the strategy of CIS economic development along with the CIS Executive Committee. The first stage of the strategy is planned for 2009 - 2011.
