Executive Director of National Bank of Pakistan to take part in II Astana Economic Forum

Kazakhstan Today - The Executive Director of the National Bank of Pakistan, Asad Kureshi, will take part in II Astana Economic Forum in Astana, the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the press service, on March, 9th in Islamabad the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Bahytbek Shabarbayev, met Adviser of Prime Minister of Pakistan for Finance and Economy, Shaukat Tarin, who heads the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy and Statistics. The officials exchanged opinions concerning bilateral cooperation in the area of economy, finance and trade.
The Kazakhstan diplomat informed on the social and economic situation in Kazakhstan has acquainted with the anti-recessionary measures of the government directed at maintenance of social protection of the population, and creation of conditions for post crisis development.
According to the reached arrangement, Executive Director of the National Bank of Pakistan, Asad Kureshi, will take part in II Astana Economic Forum.
