March 4. Kazakhstan Today - The world market of steel production stabilized. At the London Metal Exchange (LME) the price of the 'Mediterranean' half-finished products (Steel Mediterraneant) with immediate delivery for the last month increased and three-month contracts decreased.
According to the forecasts of the British analytical agency MEPS, in the second half of 2009 the price for rolling steel in Europe will grow, though consumption level has remained low during the whole year.
