Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, during the government session today assigned Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Umirzak Shukeev, to take the question of regulation of import duties under his personal control, the agency reports.
He said that the working group has been created that will have regular weekly meetings to consider the system and practical questions concerning memorandums, their tracking, and transformation them into contracts."
As informed earlier, U. Shukeev stated at Almaty akimat session on February, 28th 2009 that Kazakhstan is ready to reconsider weekly import duties in the interests of domestic manufacturers.
