Samruk-Kazyna transferred 120 billion KZT to banks of second level

February 17. Kazakhstan Today - Yesterday the Fund of National Welfare Samruk-Kazyna transferred to the banks of the second level 120 billion KZT for support of small and medium business. The chairman of the board of the fund, Kayrat Kelimbetov, informed at the government session today, the agency reports.
"Yesterday we transferred 120 billion to the second-tier banks for support of small and medium business," K. Kelimbetov informed.
"If today the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, signs the government decree, on Friday the second-tier banks will receive the means stipulated for refinancing of hypothecary credits of the population."
"The banks will need 10 days for internal procedures and since March, 1st people will be able to address the banks concerning refinancing of hypothecary credits," K. Kelimbetov said.
