January 26. Kazakhstan Today - Umut Shayametova appointed the chairman of the board of JSC Company National Bank of Kazakhstan, the agency reports citing the press service of the bank.
"Grigory Marchenko was appointed by the decree of the president for the post of chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan on January, 21st, 2009. Shayametova Umut Bolathanovna has been appointed, by the decision of the Board of Directors of the National Bank, who earlier held the post of vice-chairman of the board, for the post of chairman of the board of the National Bank," the press service informs.
Marchenko Grigory Aleksandrovich worked on the post of chairman of the board of the National Bank since January, 2005.
Earlier, U. Shayahmetova held the post of vice-chairman of the board of the National Bank.
Since November, 2004 she had the post of vice chairman of the board of JSC National Bank of Kazakhstan and supervised corporate block.
In 2006 she was awarded the Medal 'Eren enbegy ushin'.
