24 billion KZT allocated for construction of objects of Asian Winter Games

Almaty. January 23. Kazakhstan Today - The assistant akim of Almaty, Marat Kudyshev, said during the meeting in akimat of Almaty devoted to the results of social and economic development of the city for 2008, 24 billion KZT has been allocated in the republican budget for 2009 on construction and reconstruction of the Asian Winter Games objects, the agency reports.

"Almost 24 billion KZT has been allocated from the republican budget in 2009 for construction and reconstruction of sports objects of Almaty," assistant akim, Marat Kudyshev, informed.

"... 4 objects have been given to us - the city and the money given is significant. We need to use these resources and prepare all the objects for the Asian Winter Games. Owing to these objects, we need to solve many city problems, including creation of workplaces during this crisis time," akim of the city emphasized.
