Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, has assigned the Ministry of Justice of Kazakhstan today during the selector government meeting to consider an opportunity of including the column 'nationality' in Kazakhstan passports.
"There is a debate related to nationality column in passports. I assign you to make all the necessary changes so that the passport has the column 'nationality'," K. Masimov said, addressing the Minister of Justice of Kazakhstan, Zagipa Baliyeva.
Upon completion of the meeting, Z. Baliyeva said the Constitution provides indication of nationality in the passport at the citizens' request.
As informed earlier, one of the Parliament deputies has expressed discontent with the fact that the new passports' of Kazakhstan citizens does not indicate their nationality.
