Kazakhstan Today - The Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan at the session of public chamber of Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan presented a number of amendments to Mass Media Law, the agency reports.
The conclusion on the bill on amendments and additions to the acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning mass media will be prepared in Majilis Committee for Welfare Development.
According to Vice Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, Baghlan Maylybayev, it has been proposed to cancel registration of television and radio broadcasting organizations to avoid duplication of registration procedures.
"The bill also proposes to cancel the procedure of receiving a permit for use of audio and video recordings for interviewing," Vice Minister said.
