Poland supports Uzbekistan in trade relations with EU countries

Almaty. December 1. Kazakhstan Today - The session of the Uzbek-Polish intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation took place in Warsaw with participation of the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Commerce, Eldar Ganiev, the agency reports citing the information agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Zhahon.

During the session the co-chairman of the Polish commission, Vice Minister of National Economy of Poland, Martsin Korolets, noted that the relations between Uzbekistan and Poland have been friendly. He underlined that the signed on October 2nd, 2007 in Tashkent intergovernmental agreement on economic cooperation has stimulated further development of bilateral relations. The Polish party is ready to support the economic interests of Uzbekistan in the EU."

Following the results of the session of Uzbek-Polish intergovernmental commission, 'Uzinfoinvest' agency and the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency signed the memorandum of mutual understanding.
