2.2 trillion KZT to be directed for realization of Stabilization Plan

Astana. November 25. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, informed the government will direct 2.2 trillion KZT for realization of the Stabilization Plan on Monday during discussion of the anti-recessionary government program in the central office of the People's Democratic Party Nur Otan, the agency reports.

The Prime Minister reminded that the stabilization government plan has 5 directions defined by the President of the country. "This is maintenance of stability of the financial sector - $ 4 billion, stabilization of the real estate market - $3 billion, support for small and medium business - $1 billion, accelerated development of agricultural and industrial complex - $1 billion, and realization of important innovative, infrastructural, and industrial projects - $1 billion," the Prime Minister emphasized.

"This plan of action of the government, the National Bank, and the Agency for Financial Supervision will allow us not to admit, as it has happened in some countries, sharp deterioration of the situation and will enable Kazakhstan to go through the world financial crisis with the revived, stronger and competitive economy," K. Masimov considers.
