Industry Minister suggests replacing share construction in Kazakhstan by mechanism of housing co-operatives

Astana. November 13. Kazakhstan Today - The Minister of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan, Vladimir Schkolnik, suggested replacing share construction in Kazakhstan by the mechanism of housing co-operatives today at the session of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the agency reports.

"In 2009, maximum in 2010 the rights of equity holders will be protected," V. Schkolnik said meaning completion of the objects of share construction.

The Minister of Industry and Commerce reminded that the mechanism of housing co-operatives consists in election by future tenants of bodies of control of housing co-operative, gathering of the consolidated resources for construction, and hiring a contractor. "This is all the same, but only much safer," V. Schkolnik said.
