SCO Prime Ministers to discuss possible actions on overcoming consequences of world financial crisis

Astana. October 31. Kazakhstan Today - Prime Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries discussed at the meeting on October 29-30 in Astana possible coordinated actions on overcoming of the consequences of world financial crisis, the agency reports referring to the press service of the government of the Russian Federation.

"The meeting participants discussed questions of social and economic and humanitarian cooperation of the SCO member states and further improvement of activities of the organization in the view of the results of SCO summit held on August 28 in Dushanbe. Special attention wwas drawn to the possible coordinated actions of the SCO countries in connection with world financial crisis," the press service informs.

The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, will pay a working visit to Kazakhstan during which he will meet the President, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and will hold negotiations with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov.
