N. Nazarbayev and S. Berlusconi's meeting passed at the international airport of Astana within the limits of a short-term working visit of the Italian Prime Minister to Kazakhstan. "Italy is an important trading partner of Kazakhstan in Europe," N. Nazarbayev emphasized.
The Prime Minister of Italy familiarized with the sights of Astana. "S. Berlusconi highly assessed the work of the architects and constructors who have created a modern city, the new capital of Kazakhstan on the left bank of the city," the press service emphasized.
As it was informed earlier, S. Berlusconi visited Astana on the way to Italy from Beijing where he took part in the 7th summit Asia - Europe.
