Kazakhstan Today - Following the results of the tenders of the shares at the Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) on October 22, 2008 KASE index decreased by 3.10 items (0.4 %) - from 885.04 up to 881.94, the agency reports.
According to the stock exchange, the first transaction of the day registered the value of the index at the level of 891.11. During the tenders maximum value of the index made 901.00 and minimum - 872.07.
"Volume of transactions of shares included in the representation index list, on October 22 in comparison with the last trading day in tenge equivalent has decreased by 12 % and has made 85.4 million KZT, or $713.3 thousand," the stock exchange informs.
