Kazakhstan Today - Following the results of the tenders of the shares at the Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) on October 21, 2008 KASE index decreased by 22.94 items (2.5 %) - from 907.98 up to 885.04, the agency reports.
According to the stock exchange, the first transaction of the day registered the value of the index at the level of 989.39. During the tenders maximum value of the index made 990.04 and minimum - 882.48.
"Volume of transactions of shares included in the representation index list, on October 21 in comparison with the last trading day in tenge equivalent has decreased by 16 % and has made 97.1 million KZT, or $811 thousand," the stock exchange informs.
