October 2. Kazakhstan Today - Fund of stressful assets will begin work in 2008 in Kazakhstan. The Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan, Bolat Zghamishev, informed today during briefing, the agency reports.
"Fund of stressful assets will start work in 2008. One of the possible directions for financing of the fund will be the sums that have been freed up after amendments of the budget due to those programs that have not been realized. They can be directed at capitalization of this fund," B. Zhamishev said.
"The goal number one - to execute the budget of 2008 and to redirect unused funds for other purposes," the Minister said.
