October 1. Kazakhstan Today - Inflation in Kazakhstan for September 2008 made 0.6 %. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, informed during the round table for business circles with participation of the government of Kazakhstan on Tuesday, the agency reports.
"I was told that inflation in Kazakhstan in September reached 0.6 % that is for 9 months inflation makes 8.1 %," K. Masimov said.
"The goal that we set for ourselves is to remain at the level of less than 10 %," he said.
International Monetary Fund several days ago forecasted inflation in Kazakhstan at 11.5 %.
