Astana. September 26. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan and Belarus are interested in organization of joint ventures. The Minister of Emergency Measures, Vladimir Bozhko, informed today during the second day of the work of the intergovernmental Belorussian-Kazakhstan Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, the agency reports.

"Both parties have shown interest in organization in Kazakhstan of joint ventures on manufacture of furniture, production of light industry, and manufacture of mineral fertilizers," V. Bozhko said.

Vice Prime Minister of Belarus, Ivan Bambiza, emphasized that the parties have not used reserves of trade and economic relations and contacts between the regions.

The Kazakhstan party supported this direction. The parties planned mutual visit to the Mogilyov oblast of Belorussia and the Eastern Kazakhstan oblast up to the end of 2008 and in the first half of 2009 to Bryansk oblast and Karaganda," I. Bambiza explained.

Today following the results of two-day work the intergovernmental Belorussian-Kazakhstan Commission signed the protocol of the fifth session. The parties agreed to develop direct contacts between managing subjects of two countries, to pay regular mutual visits, and to carry out trading missions.
