Kazakhstan Today - Following the results of the tenders of the shares at the Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) on September 19, 2008 KASE index increased by 84.23 items (5.5 %) - from 1533.62 up to 1617.85, the agency reports.
According to the stock exchange, the first transaction of the day registered the value of the index at the level of 1533.50. During the tenders maximum value of the index made 1617.85 and minimum - 1502.84.
"Volume of transactions of shares included in the representation index list, on September 19 in comparison with the last trading day in tenge equivalent has decreased by 40 % and has made 133.5 million KZT, or $1114.5 thousand," the stock exchange informs.
