Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan plans to develop atomic energy as there are no alternatives to atomic energy in the world. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, stated during the Internet-conference Strategy of the Government Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized by press centre RosBusinessConsulting on Friday.
"I consider that atomic energy is the future as there are no alternatives to atomic energy in the world," K. Masimov stated. "In the nearest 20 - 30 years ... oil and gas will not have such great value as there will be neither oil nor gas in the world. Therefore, we attach big importance to cooperation with Rosatom," he emphasized.
