Kazakhstan Today - Following the results of the tenders of the shares at the Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) on September 4, 2008 KASE index decreased by 41.15 items (2.1 %) - from 1951.66 up to 1910.51, the agency reports.
According to the stock exchange, the first transaction of the day registered the value of the index at the level of 1945.62. During the tenders maximum value of the index made 1954.55 and minimum - 1902.23.
"Volume of transactions of shares included in the representation index list, on September 4 in comparison with the last trading day in tenge equivalent has decreased by 4.2 times and has made 91.6 million KZT, or $765.2 thousand," the stock exchange informs.
